Madecasse

The beans are grown in the Sambirano Valley of Madagascar and made into finished bars in the highland region of the island. Using this business model  of making the chocolate in the country of origin of the bean they estimate they create a  fourfold increase on the income for the farmers they would have generated by selling directly to a multinational, making it have a greater impact than fair trade cocoa. Add to that it is organic and the bars all have a distinctive quality.
